Sales Tax

Diamonds.com is located in Las Vegas , Nevada , U.S.A. We are required by law to collect sales tax from Nevada residents or for purchases delivered within Nevada.

Nevada sales tax is not applicable to merchandise shipped outside of Nevada to residents of other states. We do not collect sales tax for other states. Compliance with any state sales or use tax is the responsibility of the customer. Contact your state's tax division for more information.

Shipping

Orders are processed as they are received. Merchandise in stock normally ships within 1-2 business days. If you have ordered merchandise which requires the diamond(s) to be set, your order will normally ship within 5-7 business days.

Delivery Details:

  • We are able to ship orders within the United States, and its territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands) only.
  • Orders are shipped to your billing address, unless otherwise specified at the time the order is placed. For security reasons, If you provide an alternate shipping address, you must contact your credit card company to add this address to your account information. Both the billing and shipping address must be verifiable with your credit card company and/or issuing bank.
  • Orders are shipped and insured via Federal Express or US Postal Service (to APO/FPO address and US Territories). If any other courier service is requested, additional shipping charges will apply.
  • FedEx is unable to deliver to a P.O. Box address. A physical street address and a signature upon receipt is required for delivery.

Lab Certificates / Grading Reports

Diamonds.com is proud to offer the finest quality diamonds available. While aspects of diamond grading are subjective, a diamond Grading Report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the American Gem Society (AGS) will accompany our loose diamond inventory. These laboratories are recognized around the world as the finest in gem grading. In supplying Lab Certificates, Appraisals and/or Grading Reports from GIA and/or AGS for its merchandise, Diamonds.com accepts and supports such documents exclusively, as proof of identity and quality of corresponding merchandise. Diamonds.com customers can always be confident that the item being purchased matches what is described in the corresponding certification and grading documents.

In the event that the customer wishes to have merchandise examined by another laboratory or grading entity, Diamonds.com accepts no responsibility for those results. Such findings will in no way affect or alter certification, appraisal or grading documents provided Diamonds.com, and shall simply serve as the customer's reference items.

Warranty Guarantee

It is the aim of Diamonds.com to be the premier choice for fine quality diamonds and jewelry. Diamonds.com merchandise has a limited 30-day warranty, and is guaranteed against defects in manufacturing and workmanship. This warranty does not, however, apply to items subjected to excessive wear, abuse, or physical damage whether accidental or otherwise.

Upon acceptance of delivery, insurance and protection of merchandise becomes the sole responsibility of the customer, and Diamonds.com shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or resulting damages that may subsequently occur. Customer security and a safe shopping environment are our primary concerns. Whenever a customer makes a purchase at Diamonds.com, our server uses a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to connect with the customer 's computer. This protocol is the finest security available. SSL encrypts sensitive customer information and guards it from interception and misuse.

Protection of offline customer information is of paramount importance as well. All customer information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Employees are granted access to personally identifiable information on a strict "need to know" basis.

Returns & Exchanges

Items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the date of shipment. The full purchase price of the item will be refunded to the original form of payment only. Upon receipt of your return, the merchandise will be inspected by our Quality Control department. Items not in original condition and/or packaging, showing signs of wear, or that have been personalized with engraving cannot be accepted for return.

Step 1.
Call 877-956-9600 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You will receive an e-mail telling you the specific address to send your return. If the return merchandise is shipped to any other address other than indicated in the email, you will be charged a $50 handling fee.

Step 2.
Include all original packaging materials. If your item was delivered with a GIA diamond certificate/grading report, and that certificate is not returned, you will be charged a $150 replacement fee. The RMA number must appear on the outside of the package.

For security reasons, do not write 'diamond' or 'jewelry' anywhere on the outside of the box.

Step 3.
Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail insured for the total value of the contents, with return receipt for confirmation that your package has been received by us. 
(FedEx and UPS have maximum liability of $500).   Return shipping shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. If it is determined the item for return is defective, or not as ordered, DIAMONDS.COM will reimburse you for the cost of return shipping. Remember to include a copy of the receipt of return shipping cost. Failure to do so, may forfeit your right to reimbursement.

Repairs/Sizing

While we offer only the finest quality merchandise, service or repair may occasionally be necessary. For sizing, alterations or repairs, please contact our Customer Service Department at 877-956-9600.

We will size your ring for you at no additional charge. However, if it is determined that the ring requires further sizing, additional fees will apply.

We will not be responsible for any items repaired or altered by a jeweler other than DIAMONDS.COM. Any repairs or alterations made without the consent of DIAMONDS.COM will void all return/warranty policies.

User also covenants and agrees that:

  1. venue and jurisdiction for resolution of any dispute arising from or relating in any way to merchandise purchased from this site, or use of any information in this site, shall be in Clark County , Nevada , U.S.A.
